Our Community, Our Program, Our Mission

Our Mission

Spartans Youth Baseball Association (SYBA) was founded in 2014 as a developmental, select, feeder program for Brookfield East High School Baseball. We promote young athletes to reach their full potential through teaching the fundamentals of baseball, sportsmanlike competition and good citizenship. Our goal is to develop qualities of leadership, teamwork, discipline, quickness of mind, physical well-being, moral as well as, physical courage.

SYBA Program expectations:

    • Players will play within their age/grade level
    • Season from April through July
    • Majority of league games and tournaments are held locally
    • Approximately 30 games per season
    • Winter practice at our own, local Indoor facility
    • Registration fee includes uniforms, league play, and tournaments + more...

Players are continuously evaluated during each season on: skill level, coachability, commitment, teamwork, and demonstration of the values of the program's mission statement.

What People are saying about Brookfield Junior Spartans Baseball

"The Junior Spartan Baseball program has not only helped my son better his baseball skills, but it has taught him how to be a good teammate; all good things that will help him throughout his baseball career and life in general. The coaches create a positive atmosphere that allows for the boys to thrive on and off the field. We have been incredibly happy with the program!"

"We have been thrilled with the Jr. Spartans Baseball program.  Not only have the coaches helped our son to learn the game of baseball and improve his skills, but they have taught him the important life skills of teamwork, leadership and discipline.  The coaching staff leads by example - they are a great team for our son to look up to.  We are looking forward to many continued years in the program."
